“My passion in life is the ATHENA principle of Learning Constantly. I will add to that principle and say my passion is to Learn Constantly with Enthusiasm. I love the saying by Mandell Crawley: “Light yourself on fire with enthusiasm and people will come from miles to watch you burn.” One of the most valuable lessons I have learned in my life is that no matter what obstacles come your way, you have to live by your own leadership principles. I was so fortunate in my life to find Dr. Quade and ATHENA Valley of the Sun at exactly the right time to solidify this belief. Living Authentically combined with Learning Constantly (and Building Relationships, Advocating Fiercely, Fostering Collaboration, Acting Courageously, Celebrating, and Giving Back) with enthusiasm will truly set you apart as a leader professionally, academically, and personally. Welcome to ATHENA Valley of the Sun and I congratulate you on participating in this course which I hope will leave a lasting impression on you.” ~ Chantel Dooley
